According to the United Nations, (Inhaadi) Adnyamathanha (located in the Northern Flinders Ranges of Australia) is listed as an endangered indigenous language. There are roughly 6 Elders left who can speak the language fluently. This particular project was a memorable one, as it helped bring youth and Elders together to preserve their stories through animation. The video above is one of their stories called “Akurra at Yaki.”
George delivered excellent results. He is smart, quick and an astute, warm communicator. When working with us on our community-based digital media project, George easily built rapport, supported others to engage with new processes and facilitated some inspiring results. His commitment to supporting Indigenous cultural expression is highly commended.
