About

I'm a third-cultured, freelance web designer & animator, looking for a way to return all that I have been fortunate enough to receive. I enjoy all things related to computer graphics, design and animation; am fascinated by social media; and love education at any level.

Tales from Nanumea: Te Lima

Part of my ongoing Tales from Nanumea series, this project was made for my Minor Project at the Centre for Animation & Interactive Media (AIM). It is loosely based on a true story passed down to me from my mother. I kept certain details out to keep things somewhat “universal,” and exaggerated quite a few other things to make the story more dramatic. If you are Tuvaluan, or Nanumean, then you will probably recognize the exaggerated bits.

*This project was completed within the span of five weeks, utilizing Adobe Flash CS4 and After Effects.
